DS CLUB meeting: Ice Cream
Even though there were not too many people this time, the atmosphere delivered was a very family like. There were many new faces, members of our Club, and especially pleasant to know that not only women, but also men are interested in our Club.
This time we discussed harms and healthy impact of the ice cream, raffled a valuable prize - a stylish mug from DiningSmart, learned new techniques, got acquainted, and, of course, cooked delicious cherry ice cream and tasted it.
As it found out, the homeland of the ice cream is France. The first prototype of ice cream was thought up by the Parisian confectioner Tortoni in 1798. This dessert included mix from the frozen eggs, the candied fruit and cream. All of this was carefully mixed up and fused in practically the same delicious ice cream that we enjoy today. The ice cream produced nowadays can be of very high calorie, and it is possible to produce your own low calorie ice cream even at home.
Ice cream was made within 10 seconds using Termomix, a luxury class miracle machine that replaces practically all kitchen equipment. The berry dessert turned out so tasty that we even forgot to take pictures:)
Participants were very delighted by the process of cooking on Termomix that we in addition also made salads for our guests. The process of preparation of salads took also no more than 10 seconds.
