The power of tea and the meaning of the Chinese tea ceremony: milk oolong does not exist

This time the guests met in an unusual place. Instead of a cafe or a restaurant, we decided to meet in an anticafe. Anticafe “Kamin”. Unusual ambiance, which seemed like a home kitchen, inclined the Club members to communication and acquaintance. 





The theme of the meeting was also unusual and, at the same time, intriguing - the power and meaning of the Chinese tea ceremony. The tea master, Meira Solyanik and Dmitriy Cehin, from the House of Tea Master, were invited to tell us about it.



Thanks to the tea masters, who clearly know their job, as well as their product, which is the tea, the guests were unexpectedly surprised by having learned how to brew tea, what is Qi energy in tea, which one of the has useful properties. Thus, for instance, not only is there just black and green tea, but also there is white, yellow, red, green and black tea, each with its one unique taste and flavor. Not to mention, all of us did ascertained in it. 







Likewise, DS Club members also learned what we often drink is just tea dust from the tea bags. As a matter of fact, tea in China grows on trees and it is not recommended to take tea with tablets. As it turned out, most of the tea that is presented on the shopwindows of Almaty is, in fact, flavored with a great amount of flavor enhancers and artificial substances that bring no benefit for health. 







While watching the fascinating tea ceremony, the guests of the meeting turned out well to hear lots of interesting facts. For example, milk oolong, a very popular type of tea, does not exist in its pure form. Moreover, the expiration date of the tea is only one year.

 

Having learned much useful and interesting information, we now know how to choose tea in the stores and what is the real cost of tea. In like manner, we learned what types of tea can help to improve our health.
