STARTUPSABANTYU visited Kazakhstan!
StartUpSabantuy team came to Almaty few days before the selection. On 9th and 10th of May they have held the competition HackDay – for beginner-startups. During two days participants tried to make real projects. Popular bloggers and mentors of IT industry have helped them, one of which there was a team of Naberezhnye Chelny IT park. Lenar Khalikov, Deputy Head of development, spoke on “How to create successful startups out of simple ideas”. Faem Akhmetzyanov, Head of startup projects of IT park, held a master class on “How to test an idea”. There were around 1300 participants of HackDay in Almaty.
Life.Beats project became the winner. It is the smart calendar scheduling the time for taking a medicine. Second winner which was invited to startup school was Flavium – portal allowing gamers to get profit thanks to cyber sport.
DiningSmart together with two additional projects were selected for review by a number of Russian investors.
