DS CLUB: Detox and green cocktails
DS CLUB meetings are a great opportunity to meet real professionals since we invite only best competent specialists who is able to professionally deliver the necessary information.
The topic "What is detox?" has been covered by Madina K. Dosanova, senior Manager of weight reducing Centre named after Doctor Gavrilov, endocrinologist. This Centre is well known in Russia, and now its branches were opened in Almaty, Astana and Aktau. As explained by Madina Dosanova, a person eats more than 25 tons of food (!) during his life, which certainly made all of us to rethink about our food habits. She taught what is detox, how to do it at home, fasting days, counter indications of detox, and why this word became so trendy nowadays.
After hearing lots of new information, we started the practical part. As it turned, many of our guests even did not try green smoothies which are easy to cook. We talked about and showed how to make green smoothie, and Alima (DiningSmart employee and blogger of our web site) shared her experience and feelings of how green smoothies influenced on her general well-being. Green cocktails can replace the whole breakfast – this is how nutritious it can be.
Panasonic (www.panasonic.kz, www.facebook.com/panasonic.kz) has become the partner of our event, which we would like to thank for providing blenders. Provided blenders made our idea to share our experience with guests a reality.
Galina, Panasonic representative in details instructed all participants how to work with blender and other equipment which the company produces. We are very glad to cooperate with Panasonic, the company which shares our vision and philosophy of socially responsible business: Panasonic products are made without plastic, environmentally clean and help to cook tasty and healthy.
Having found out how to use Panasonic blender, our guests divided into team and started cooking green cocktails.
We gave our guests spinach, coriander, cucumbers, kiwi, celeriac, apples, banana, apricot halves to make it more sweat upon the wish. As bonus we gave guests a try to add into cocktails the flax seeds which are full of Omega 3 fatty acids, but it is rather hard to find them in Kazakhstan, and collection of Super food – which is the germs of wheat, barley and broccoli, and everything is organic only.
Guests were excited about new taste of natural cocktails and purchased flax seeds and Super food. These products can also be purchased by You, if you write us to info@dinignsmart.com
