In my previous post HEALTHY BREAKFAST: WHAT SHOULD BE IN THERE? I shared main ingreadients of a healthy breakfast. Taking those into account, I started looking for the most suitable morning food for myself. Once I saw a photo of one American celebrity, who was holding a jar with smoothie that made me think that I don't necessarily need to eat breakfast – I can drink it! This liquid breakfast became a wonderful detox and now it's an integral part of my life.
Since I didn't do sports and spent most of the time at work eating fast-food instead of real meal, smoothie made my transition to a healthy lifestyle more simple and smooth – my body appreciated me drinking green smoothies.
What is a green smoothie?
Well, this is probably one of the first and main questions I get about my breakfast.

What I like the most about green smoothies is that they made my skin healthy and glowy. They also help with morning facial swelling issue(I finally said goodbye to my morning undereye bags). And simply make my day!
How to make a green smoothie?
The key is to begin drinking green smoothies with small portions and simple recipes. Below, I've made a table that shows proportions of main ingredients and it also gives hints for possible recipes.
* I prefer almond milk as my favorite nut milk (read it HEALTHY INSTRUCTION: MAKING ALMOND MILK).
** Experiment with fruits, but remember the 60/40 rule –green smoothie should contain 60% of fruits and 40% of leafy greens..
So, guys, this is how my breakfast looks like. I like that it's easy and it has an incredible nutritional value. Green smoothie became my daily ritual and a guarantee of a good mood and well-being. Try it out!
