Recipe Submission Guidelines

How to submit your favorite recipes to diningsmart.com

We encourage dining smart readers who’d like to contribute a few of their personal favorite recipes and, we’ve made that process even easier! If you’ve already joined diningsmart.com it’s as simple as clicking on our “add my recipe” menu link and filling out our handy submission form. If you’ve not registered with us yet *(and why not? It’s all free and the only spam you’ll ever get from us comes on April 1st.) you are welcome to send your recipes via email to the addresses listed below.

If you do plan on contributing your recipes, there’s only a few requirements:

  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Your recipe must be original, By original we don’t mean you can’t submit your variation of a favorite popular dish, we mean it needs to be written by you, about you.
  • Thorough Ingredients list, detailed recipe preparation directions and, if at all possible.. Nutritional data on your recipe ingredients.
  • Illustrations/Photography if possible of your prepared recipe, during preparation, etc. The more the better, high quality (1024x768px minimum).

Currently, we’re reviewing recipe submissions for our FALL – 2011 issues which will feature our “Back to school” favorites, Holiday primers and other seasonal family gatherings. Please submit your recipes for consideration below.

As of June 2011 diningsmart.com has amassed a bit over 93,204 recipes, 20,000+ are currently published online and we hope to have these reindexed with updated photography, enhanced ingredients and nutritional data listings cross-referenced by August of 11. That said, we hope you understand we can not guarantee that your recipe(s) will be published immediately and, that your submission may be edited for clarity and content.

DiningSmart.com is a “family orientated” website. Any submissions to diningsmart.com with the intention of publication must reflect this sensibility.
